Dear Angels,
"I have a life history of unsatisfactory living situations;  I feel like a refugee.  It's time once again for me to move (before May 1).  I'd like help with my core issue of lack of stability...This is Big, and not something a brief comment will remedy, but I appreciate your reply."  Brenda ,El Cajon, CA

Dear Brenda,
You seem to have a spiritual side of you that does its best to think positively and wants nothing more than to overcome the mishaps of your life.  You're half "there."  However, there is another side of you, perhaps with "slippery fingers," which you justify because of your precarious position. It looks as if when money does come your way, you tend to mismanage it. Do you have trouble holding down a job as well?

Be honest with yourself and notice if alcohol or drugs create problems for you. The sad truth is that you have the possibility of leading a beautiful life, but not under your current self-management, or mismanagement.  Notice if people seem to find you difficult to deal with and you with them.  Notice if you have been accused of being so angry that it has created problems for you.  It can be the anger just pops up for you because you feel as if you are being mistreated, often a symptom of living with alcoholism as a child.

The unfortunate part, Brenda, is that you are an educated and attractive woman.  It is not too late to pull yourself together to pick up the pieces of your life. Once you are ready to admit that your life is not working and that maybe a little help might be a good idea, you can attend AA free any day of the week.

Thanks Suzy You were right on. You are right my childhood was filled with alot of rejection from my father who hated me. Blessings and thanks so much to you and the angels for the help.
