Dear Betty,
Your guy, Bill, must be in control.  He's smart and sees himself as someone who thinks clearly. He also appears to take the other side of whatever matters to you. You have been living split down the middle for a long time and sick of it.  It's time to pay attention to what you want, what makes you happy.  It looks as if when things don't go Bill's  way, he acts and maybe even says that you're nuts. His accusations stabs you and split you open emotionally to expose old wounds. Bill knows exactly how to siphon your personal power, leaving you exhausted and diminished.

I asked your Angels, "Is it for your highest good to leave?"  The answer is to go for the divorce or separation, but only if it feels right for you. At least get some help so that you are able to reclaim the old Betty who was left along side the road awhile back.  She needs to be welcomed home for the new year.

Thanks so much, Suzy. A lot of what you say is very accurate, and in fact we already did split up for the reasons you outlined in your answer, but it was temporary. During the time we were apart, I did indeed realize that my dynamic and highly energized personality was being sucked dry by this man's issues and his poor way of dealing with them. I can't believe the insight in your answer - it was shocking. Recently he's made a return to my life and I'm cautiously allowing him some time and space in my world, while constantly checking in with myself to make sure I'm not being thrown off my own centre. However, the past couple of weeks, I've been feeling the drain again. You may be right, and it may only be a matter of time before I listen to my angels and proceed to completely extract myself.
