Dear Laura,
Let's deal with "the boys" in your life first.  Take a look at yourself and notice if you try to form a bond of friendship before you think of moving ahead sexually.  It can be that you are putting out the "wrong" signals to the guys you are dating.  If you acting TV sexual, when you are thinking "Let's just have fun and get to know each other," you will be giving out the wrong signal. Or if you are thinking that sex without a committed friendship is what is required of you and then feeling zapped and ill-respected, that won't work either.

As for pursuing Steve, he appears to be a spiritually balanced human being. You actually seem to fit together well.  If you can pursue, as you said, without being pushy, and rather just being open to talking together so you get to know each other, he seems like a good guy. The "trick" is always to be open, but not so open that you appear loose.  The attitude of, "this seems like a nice guy -let's have coffee," works great.

Dear Annie,
The Angels appreciate your honesty and your willingness to look at yourself and this situation. You do live in a physical world.  If you are unable to see past this impediment, then it would be best to just be friends.  He would like to have a close relationship, even a committed relationship.  Perhaps there is something within him that makes him think he is less than desirable because of his prosthesis, which is what makes it as important as it is for you.

What I see is you are a spiritual lady doing your best to be centered and grounded. This whole prospect of moving past friendship, right or wrong, throws you off and would jettison any hope for a committed relationship between the two of you. Added to that is once we move into a sexual relationship, we never seem to be able to return to "just good friends," that was so useful and special in our life.

Your Angels are clear here. If both you and he can see him as a regular guy who happens to be missing a leg, then there is a good chance you can create a fine relationship.  If one or both of you are stuck on the prosthetic leg, then you will miss your old friend status.

"My mother just passed away. Without spending time in a prolonged meditation about you and your mother, I can only say that it feels as if your mother lived through you in some ways.  Your accomplishments embellished not just your life, but hers.  What I'm hearing is that as you move forward in your own life, supported by the baseline of loving security your mother did her best to provide for you, you will honor her.

Basic things that you would do for her, such as putting her picture in some small corner that is yours, will always honor her.  Putting a flower or a candle next to her is another nice way to let her know that she is still respected and appreciated.  And of course what you are already doing. You are acknowledging her presence in your life today as well as yesterday, when she appeared to be alive.

You and your mother carry a bonding connection that is bigger than this one lifetime.  It will continue as you allow it, and I know you will.

You've asked about finding a job, but this looks like it's about your relationship, which doesn't appear to be working.  Can this be connected to your lack of financial contribution?  Your Angels are showing me that you have made yourself a goal to find a job, but you are so worried that it won't happen that you are creating a roadblock.

What seems to be holding you back is not just the economic situation.  It is also that you don't believe in yourself and are having a hard enough time just being in your body and maintaining some kind of balance.

It does look as if in January things will begin to change for you.  Opportunities will arise. The challenge for you will be to be open to pursue something and  to release your idea that you are unable to work with your body not feeling well. Notice if your head feeds you leftover thoughts that don't have to apply unless you allow yourself to believe them.

If you read the fifth one down before you, under Kristen in Portland, you'll see my answer to names of Angels and guides.  I'm not much good at it.  As for your landowner, Dave,  it looks as if he doesn't have much "give" in him, as if he runs that old Clint Eastwood movie energy. Does the breast-your-cards energy, "I'm not going to show you my real feelings," resonate with you?

He sees you as a spiritual woman who would like to have a family to love but doesn't.  He's kind of floating himself, a little lost, and looking for a relationship to carry him out of his emptiness.  He sees the two of you connecting nicely, which makes you a good possibility.  The challenge is that this appears not to be a fulfilling situation for you.

Your Angels are showing me that there is a disconnection between heart and mind in Dave.  There is something that made you wonder about him. With that thought, decide if you would like to play with Dave, or if you are thinking about something more enduring.

"Where is my lost Nikon camera?"  Elle, Ashland, MA

Hi Elle,
This is not my field, but is it possible you loaned it to someone you know well and trusted and then forgot about it?  I'm hearing that this is a guy who is sweet and considerate and wouldn't keep it intentionally. He's probably just forgotten.

Like I said, this is not my area of expertise.  When I lose something I do what you have probably already done. I sit down in a quiet space and say, "Okay you guys (meaning the Angels,) where did I leave this?  Whatever it is almost always shows up in a couple of days with me saying, "Huh? Where did that come from?  Did you guys do that?"
